Summer 2017 will see Thomson Cruises return to the UK with Thomson Celebration.
Thomson Celebration, the former Noordam for Holland America Line, will be based in Newcastle for the summer season and will embark on itineraries ranging from 4 nights to 14 nights and will visiit destinations such as the Norwegian Fjords, Baltic and Scandinavia.
This will be the first time a Thomson ship has been based in the UK since 2014.
Helen Caron, Managing Director of Thomson Cruises was excited at the prospect of Thomson’s return to the UK market.
“I’m excited to reveal the re-introduction of ex-UK cruising to our programme in 2017. This will open up even more destinations for our customers, giving them the opportunity to create truly memorable experiences.”
It is an exciting period of time for Thomson Cruises as this year sees the introduction of their latest ship, Thomson Discovery to their fleet. Currently sailing for Royal Caribbean as Splendour of the Seas, she will undertake her inaugural sailing for Thomson in June.
