Royal Caribbean Announce 5th Oasis Class ship

Royal Caribbean International have announced they have signed a memorandum of understanding with French shipyard STX France to construct a fifth Oasis class ship which will be scheduled for delivery in Spring 2021.

The announcement comes days after the arrival of their latest  and world’s largest cruise ship, Harmony of the Seas into Southampton for the first time after completion at the STX France shipyard.  Harmony of the Seas will depart Southampton on Sunday 29th May on her official maiden voyage to Barcelona.

Additionally Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (RCCL) have announced two further Edge class ships for Celebrity Cruises in addition to the two already ordered, which are scheduled for delivery in 2018 and 2020.  These two new ships will be scheduled for delivery in 2021 and 2022.
