Royal Caribbean International have announced plans for Adventure of the Seas to undergo a revitalisation refit at a cost of $61m in November this year.
The ship will undergo a host of changes and additions in order to freshen up the 2001 built ship. The ship have 100 extra cabins added with also a Suites Lounge added. New culinary venues will be added to the ship including Izumi, offering Japanese fayre, Chops Grille, Royal’s dedicated steak house and Boleros Latin Lounge.
Thrill seekers will be pleased to know that new additions will include new dual racing waterslides Cylcone and Typhoon, Flowrider surfing simulator and Splashaway Bay, a children’s water park on board.
It is anticipated that this will be the cruise line’s biggest ever revitalisation and further enhances Royal Caribbean’s commitment to the cruise market.
