Carnival To Name New Ship ‘Carnival Horizon’

Carnival have announced that they will be naming the sister ship to Carnival Vista, Carnival Horizon.

The 133,500grt ship will join her sister ship in the Carnival fleet in May 2018. She will feature identical facilities as her sister, Carnival Vista, including the SkyRide, IMAX cinema, Waterworks Aqua-park and also the Dr Seuss programme for the kids.

However, Carnival Horizon will have new innovations which will further enhance their latest new build.

Accommodation on board will be similar to that of Vista and will feature grades such as the Havana cabins and large family harbour cabins.

Speaking of their latest new-build, Carnival Cruise Line president, Christine Duffy, said:

“The name Carnival Horizon not only reflects the ship’s unique connection with the sea with so many spectacular indoor and outdoor spaces but also the boundless array of options that guests of all ages are sure to enjoy.”

An exciting addition in store for Carnival and one that will prove to be equally if not more popular than her sister, Carnival Vista.
