Fred Olsen have confirmed that the well loved Black Watch will be entering dry dock in November for refit.
The ship will undergo maintenance checks but will also undergo interior cosmetic changes to enhance the profile of the ship. Cabins will be decorated with new fabrics, with bathrooms also being upgraded. Safes and mini bars will also be added as standard.
Public areas will undergo a mini transformation as well, with new updated colour schemes, a larger Morning Light Pub, the Courtyard will be replaced with a new specialty dining venue. Also included in the enhancements will be the conversion of the Braemar Garden Cafe into a ‘stylish, intimate restaurant’. Glentanar Restaurant will also feature changes with a change of layout and new fresh decor, furniture and carpets to enhance the dining experience for passengers.
She will then return to her cruising duties again in December, refreshed from her dry dock.
