The largest cruise ship to visit Australia has arrived in Freemantle this morning. Royal Caribbean International’s Ovation of the Seas has arrived in the Australian port.
She arrived with traditional water cannon welcome from tugs and drummers on South Mole as she arrived into the port. She is expected to depart tomorrow afternoon where she will continue to Adelaide and Hobart before arriving in Sydney, where she will based for the summer season down under.
Ovation of the Seas is the third ship in the Quantum class for Royal Caribbean, with a fourth to be built. She entered service in April this year and initially sailed out of Southampton on her inaugural sailings before sailing to the far east.
