Reports are circulating that the Pullmantur Group are looking to close their subsidary Croisieres de France (CDF) French offices in Paris next year and mainly focus on the Pullmantur brand.
CDF currently have two ships within their fleet, the former Celebrity Cruises Horizon and Zenith. They have been marketed under the Pullmantur umbrella and will continue to do so, even in France.
With the French market being competitive, with MSC and Costa holding a stronghold on that particular sector, the Spanish and South American markets are deemed a more profitable market for the Pullmantur group.
CDF was created as a subsidary of Royal Caribbean in 2008 with the former Hapag-Lloyd Europa as Bleu de France (now operating as Saga Sapphire for Saga) with Horizon being added in 2012 and Zenith in 2014.
