Carnival Announce 2018 Schedule For Newest Ship, Carnival Horizon

Carnival Cruise Line have announced the schedule for their newest ship, Carnival Horizon, for 2018. Currently the ship is under construction in Italy and will be a sister ship to Carnival Vista.

Carnival Horizon is due to commence on her maiden voyage on 2nd April 2018 and she will be depart from Barcelona which will last 13 nights before two 7 night and one 10 night cruises to the Mediterranean follows before she relocates to New York on May 9th.

After her 14 night repositional cruise across the Atlantic, she will then depart on series of 8 night cruises throughout the summer season to the Caribbean from New York, which includes calls to Amber Cove, San Juan and Grand Turk.

Carnival Horizon will then  commence year round 6 and 8 night cruises from her homeport of Miami on 22nd September, after a special two night cruise to Nassau on 20th September. Departing on the 8 night cruise on the Saturday, she will offer two itineraries. One being calls to Grand Turk, La Romana, Curacoa and Aruba, with the alternate itinerary to Grand Turk, San Juan, St Kitts and St Maarten. While Sunday departures will see Carnival Horizon under a 6 night itinerary to Ochos Rios, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

Like her sister ship, Carnival Vista, she will have features such as the Skyride and Imax Cinema on board but it is also anticipated she will incorporate new features on board and those will be announced at a later date.
