Keel Laying Ceremony In Ancona For Viking Spirit

The keel laying ceremony for Viking Spirit took place today at Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona.

The first section of the keel placed today, measured 11 metres long, and 28.8 metres wide with a weight of around 280 tons.

At 47,800grt, Viking Spirit will be able to accomodate 946 passengers in 473 cabins.

The 5th of 6 ships in this class, Viking Spirit is due for delivery in 2018.
