New Cruise Ships Set To Be Built For Un-Named German Company In Croatia?

Reports are circulating that an un-named German cruise company is set to conclude a deal with Croatian shipyard, Brodosplit, to build two new ships which both would carry 1200 passengers.

Although no such contract has been signed or finalised, it is believed that negotiations are coming to a successful conclusion.

Croatian newspaper website Slobodna Dalmacija are reporting that the two new ships will be the largest passengers ships constructed in Croatia and each will measure 250m long, have 12 decks and cost €340m each.

It is anticipated that once the full financial package and contracts have been agreed, then an announcement will be made.
